It’s a new year and with a new year comes new beginnings. We thought we would kick off 2021 with some inspirational before and after photos that highlight what new beginnings, or new floors, can do in a space. Join us on this visual blog that highlights some dramatic Artistic Floors By Design before and after projects.
This DTC homeowner wanted to customize the space past what the standard builder's grade updates included. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED: We removed carpet, spliced hardwood into the existing wood floor, and completely transformed the handrail for a more modern look.
This beat-up “before” picture shows the wear-and-tear that can happen to hardwood floors. Check out the “after” results that saved our client thousands of dollars since they did a refinish versus installing an entirely new floor.
Bye-bye to builder’s grade carpet and stairs. We love the modern and clean feel that new hardwoods and updated handrails are bringing to our client's living room.
People ask me this question all of the time: “Can you change that '90s honey-oak look or do you have to replace your whole floor?”. The answer is YES! And we can lighten up for a more modernized, transitional look, too, like we did for this Castle Rock home.
Look at this beautiful before and after on a fireplace mantel. The warmth of the natural wood color is really adding the right contrast to the existing brick and stonework.
This is a dramatic example that showcases what skilled sanding and finishing technicians can do: flatten and color the floor, adding a low, more forgiving sheen to the finished product.
And last but certainly not least, our before and after video compilation!
