Show Me The Flooring!

Updated: Mar 9, 2021

All right y'all it’s back by special request, join us on this visual blog journey to see 20 different flooring styles that we have completed in the last year+ (yes, 20!). At Artistic Floors By Design, we believe in “showing” our clients what it means to work with a certified professional craftsman.

What Is A Certified Professional Craftsman? One of the challenges homeowners face is that neither the federal government nor the state of Colorado requires licensing for hardwood flooring installations or finishing work. In fact, it is easier to become a wood flooring contractor in Colorado than it is to become a hairdresser! The difference is a bad haircut only lasts a few weeks and doesn’t cost nearly as much.

A National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) Certified Professional Craftsman is educated and trained by the country’s only trade association dedicated to the hardwood flooring industry. This certification requires hours of classroom education and skills training and several tests that must be passed. You can trust the certified professional craftsman team at AFBD to handle your next weed flooring project.

The projects we are featuring vary in wood species, stain, finish, and technique. Each project is customized per our client's taste and tailored especially for their space. As always, do not hesitate to contact our team with any questions!
